For our take on classic cream liqueurs, we turned to vodka for a gentle warmth that lifts the cacao notes of our chocolate. To this, we melted in our caramel and milk chocolate, lifted with a dash of sea salt, and folded it all into cream, for a taste-texture experience quite unlike anything else. We call it velvetised. This 500ml serving of Salted Caramel Velvetised Cream comes presented in an elegantly designed bottle, imbued with tactile wave patterns, inspired by the process of crafting the drink itself. A sophisticated tipple, it makes a welcome addition to the drinks cabinet for connoisseurs of chocolate liqueurs, cream liqueurs, or simply those who celebrate chocolate in every form. It was our passion for cacao that inspired the creation of our Velvetised Creams. We grow some of our own cacao at our Saint Lucian cacao farm and bar – Rabot Estate, and it was here that the idea of creating our own chocolate alcohol was first planted. Surrounded by lush landscapes, we experimented with various alcohols and chocolate grades until we found the just-right balance of alcohol warmth and cacao depth. From there, we took some of our favourite chocolate pairings and created a select few curated recipes, including Espresso Martini and this, Salted Caramel Velvetised Cream.
